General Rules 2008
-Membership fees: $50.00 for competing members, $25.00 for non-competing members.
-Members will pay $20.00 per hook.
-Non-members will pay $30.00 per hook.

1. Each pulling vehicle is allowed only two hooks.
2. Entries must draw for position in each class.
3. Scale will be on the grounds. All tractors must weigh in. Driver must weigh in with tractor in each class.
4. Minors must have written permission by a parent or guardian and completed a tractor safety course in order to pull.
5. Tractors must have hoods, grills, starters, batteries, and a seat.
6. Weights shall not extend more than 13 (thirteen) feet from the center of the rear axle to the furthest most point on the front of the tractor. Modifieds may be up to 14 (fourteen) feet.
7. All pulls must be made from a solid drawbar. Maximum drawbar height is not to exceed 20 (twenty) inches to the top of the hooking point. Hitch shall be no closer than 18 (eighteen) inches from the center of the rear axle to the point the hook of the sled makes contact.
8. Hook hitches must have a 3 (three) inch diameter hole or a clevis of the same diameter. The hitch point to the back of the drawbar cannot exceed 1 (one) inch. The hook from the sled must drop in and swing freely. Drawbars must be set up in such a manner that they will not move during the pull. No weights shall be hung directly above the hitch point so as not to interfere with the hooking of the sled.
9. If a tractor is having mechanical problems and the driver stops before the 100 (one hundred) foot marker, they will be allowed to drop to the end of the class and have 1 (one) attempt to start the sled and make their pull. No repairs will be made on the track.
10. All pullers must start with a tight chain, and will be allowed 2 (two) consecutive attempts.
11. Tractors will be stopped if the front wheels exceed 36 (thirty six) inches, the flagman has complete discretion.
12. If the tractor goes out of bounds it will result in a disqualification, no measurement will be taken. The sled may cross the line as long as the tractor stays in bounds. Loss of any weight(s) or any part of the tractor until unhooked from the sled will also result in disqualification. If a weight or weights fall off because of breakage, the tractor will not be disqualified.
13. In case of a tie, there will be a pull off at the end of the class.
14. No consumption of intoxicating substances before you pull, you must remain seated during your pull and drive in a safe manner both on the track and in the pit area.
15. The puller must have a green flag to start; any puller starting or pulling on a red flag will be disqualified.
16. Unsportsman like conduct will result in disqualification.
17. All drivers pull at their own risk.
18. No riders will be allowed on tractors at any time.
19. No hot rodding or showing off of any kind at all times, except during the pull.
20. Speed limit is 5 (five) mph unless pulling. (in the pit area and to and from the track).
21. There will be no grace weight allowed in any of the classes.
22. There will be a floating finish out to 320 (three hundred twenty) feet.
23. No class jumping will be allowed.
24. Payout: Must have 5 (five) tractors/trucks in the class:

If there are less than 5 (five) tractors/trucks in the class the payout will be:

25. All tractors over 30% rpm’s and modified tractors must have steel flywheel no cast iron flywheels. (All pullers must sign a affidavit that they are running a steel flywheel and steel clutch components).
26. All diesel style vehicles shall have air shut off , operable from the rear of the tractor and operable from the drivers seat.
27. When vehicle motor is running the operator must be in the drivers seat at all times (in the pits or on the track).
28. Driver of any pulling vehicle running alcohol must wear a full fire suit (jacket, pants, gloves, shoes).
29. Remember this is only a tractor pull, so have fun! Pulling is a privilege not a right.
